• Make sure everyone’s OK. If anyone’s injured, immediately call medical help to the scene.
• Try to remain calm.
• Do not admit fault to anyone.
• Contact the police and allow them to control the situation.
• Do not discuss the accident with anyone other than the police or your insurance company.
• With the help of a police officer, gather information from everyone involved in the accident. Obtain names, addresses, phone numbers, and auto insurance information from all parties involved. Also, be sure to get contact information from any witnesses.
• Take photos of the scene of the accident if you have a camera available.
• Report the accident immediately.  The Companies page will help direct you to the claims department of your insurance company.
