Dwelling Coverage: The amount it would take an insurer to rebuild you home if a total loss were to occur.
Other Structures: Examples of other structures are, but not limited to the following: detached garages, sheds, pole barns, fences, in-ground pools, satellite dishes, detached wood decks, etc.
Personal Property: The things you bring into your home, condo, mobile home, or apartment is personal property. A variety of items includes furniture, appliances, electronics and clothing just to name a few.
Replacement Personal Property: When you purchase this option we will pay the full cost of replacement with no deduction for depreciation.
Loss of Use/Additional Living Expense: If you are unable to live in your home, condo, or mobile home due to a covered loss, we will pay the cost to live somewhere else. For example, we would pay for a hotel (short term), and/or a furnished apartment (long term).
Personal Liability: Coverage to protect you when others are injured on your property, and in some cases for other injured by you away from your property. It even covers you when you damage property of others.
Medical Payment to Others: Pays the medical bills of others injures on your property to possibly alleviate a law suit.
Deductible: The amount of a claim you agree to pay per incident. This amount is deducted from the total payment by your insurance company. In general, choosing a higher deductible will lower your rate.
